RESPONSIVE READING: Oh, Come, Let Us Worship and Adore Him! (John 1)

LEADER
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
PEOPLE
He was with God in the beginning.
LEADER
Oh, come, let us worship and adore Him.
PEOPLE
Christ the Lord!
LEADER
Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made.
PEOPLE
In Him was life, and that life was the light of men.
LEADER
Oh, come, let us worship and adore Him.
PEOPLE
Christ the Lord!
LEADER
The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.
PEOPLE
He was in the world, and though the world was made through Him, the world did not recognize Him.
LEADER
He came to that which was His own, but His own did not receive Him.
PEOPLE
Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God.
LEADER
Oh, come, let us worship and adore Him.
PEOPLE
Christ the Lord!
LEADER
The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us.
PEOPLE
We have seen His glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
LEADER
Oh, come, let us worship and adore Him.
PEOPLE
Christ the Lord!

HOLY LAND EXPERIENCE – JANUARY 12TH
Jim Schorner’s Sunday School class is going on a field trip. They are about to complete their three-year Gospel Project Walk Through the Bible with their final chapter, Revelation. Jim loves maps, and has documented where each of the Bible events have happened. He also loves history, both Bible and secular, and has been able to see where many of these Bible events fit into world history, from the fall of the Persian Empire to the rising of Alexander the Great and the Roman Empire that followed him. Now is the chance to see it in action at the Holy Land Experience in Orlando,  and you are invited to participate. They will leave the church rear parking lot at 8:30 on Saturday, January 12 and will arrive at the park around 10:30. You may join at either place. They will be getting the discounted group tickets for $40 rather than the regular $50 price and students under age 18 will only be $25.  They will be getting the group lunch of chicken sandwich, drink and cookies for $13 and bypassing the lines. If you or your friends are interested in attending, give your name and $53 to Jim Schorner any Sunday in December; his class meets in the 3rd hour in Fellowship Hall. For parents attending the event, we will provide free childcare as children get to have a sneak-peek of our Summer Sports Camp. Kids will get to rotate around to different activities, getting to enjoy some of the sports we will have available at our summer camp.

You can learn more about the movie at: https://www.connectmovie.com/
