Title: NO OTHER GODS: The Unrivaled Pursuit of Christ
by Kelly Minter
Idols aren’t always what you think. We often think of idols as ancient images or golden calves, but people still battle idolatry every day. Idols look more familiar – money, fame, power, work, ministry, and people. We serve these gods above the ONE true God and miss the unrivaled joy of following and knowing Jesus.
Book Cost: $13.00
Sign up at Welcome Desk or Text Amy Walsh at 559-6128

TRAINING DAY
Saturday, August 18th from 8:45am-11:45am in Awana Auditorium
We are offering a special day of training for all volunteers who work with Babies through Adults in our Bible study program. The training will discuss methods and approaches for best practices on effectively teaching whatever age group you are leading. There will be a general session for everyone together and then breakout sessions for your specific age of learner, preschool, children, teens, or Adults.
If you have been praying and considering helping in anyway, it would benefit you to attend this training event. Please sign up at the Welcome Desk or email Pastor Al at: al@kingsbaptist.org
We still have extreme needs in our Preschool and Children’s area. Please come and take the training for these areas even if you are only praying about doing it. Through the training God may speak to you about stepping up.
